Hi! I’m Kit Miklik (they/them).
I’m a queer, fat, enthusiastic artist based in Providence, RI.
I’ve been working in clay for over 12 years and also love painting and fiber arts.
I’m inspired by nature, witchery, and playfulness.
I believe there is just too much stuff in this world, so when I create something, I do so with intention. I want the people who use and wear my art to stand the test of time so they are able to enjoy it and pass it on.
All of my pieces are a labor of love and there is no part of the make I don’t obsess over. I pay excruciating attention to detail, from weight, balance, and texture to color, pattern, and texture.
